Because we have almost a century of combined experience in buying and selling rare coins, precious metals, fine jewelry, diamonds, watches, antiques and collections, our depth of knowledge serves the needs of the many customers who rely on their expertise to provide the strongest markets for many of their valuable items.
Greg Krill had an early fascination with collecting coins that led him to ask for a job at the age of 13 at his local coin shop. The owner said yes and as it turned out, this was one of the highest volume Coin and Precious Metal Companies in the United States. By the age of 19, Greg ran the retail side of the business. Greg is a member of the prestigious and industry-leading Professional Numismatists Guild, and is a life-time member of the American Numismatic Association where he attended his first show in 1975. Greg has served four consecutive terms as the President of the Southern California Professional Numismatists Association, and is a current Board Member of the California Coin and Bullion Merchants Association which operates to advance the interests of collectors and investors.
Greg has a keen eye and is often consulted in the industry for his opinion on the technical grading of coins. He has been an authorized Dealer for the Professional Coin Grading Service and the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation for over 20 years. He has examined hundreds of millions of dollar�s worth of rare coins and attends most major coin shows and auctions in the United States each year.
Rob Chramosta is one of the principles and chief buyers for North Bay Rare Coin & Jewelry. Rob began collecting coins at age 7. He started working for a major U.S. Coin Dealer while still in High School. It was during College that Rob became highly interested in watches, and antique jewelry. He has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Latin America buying Coins, Watches and Jewelry. He has spent much time over the last 15 years in Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina where his being fluent in Spanish has helped him facilitate many larger transactions of expensive watches and fine jewelry.
With much on-the-job experience under his belt, Rob opened up a high-end retail jewelry store 20 years ago in his hometown of Houston, Texas where he continues to work with clients and dealers in the trade. His personal collecting interests extend to vintage watches and scarcer hallmarked American silver.
Rob is a GIA Diamond Grading Graduate. He has been a member of the American Numismatic Association for thirty years, and he holds memberships in the International Watch & Jewelry Guild, the Professional Numismatists Guild and other industry organizations.
Tom Goldbach is a seasoned numismatist with 30 years of experience in the coin industry. Starting in 1979 as a coin collector specializing in Morgan Dollars, after honing his grading skills, Tom became a vest-pocket dealer in 1983, gaining knowledge and understanding of all the variations within the trade.
By 1986, Tom was the manager of one of Northeast Ohio's largest coin companies. In that retail and wholesale market, Tom quickly sharpened his skills and knowledge in all aspects of the Coin Jewelry and Collectable industry. Working for 20 years in that high-level capacity provided him exposure to foreign and domestic coins and currency, watches, precious metals, jewelry and vintage collectibles. In 2006, with this vast experience, Tom started his own company. Tom is not only well educated in the coin and collectable industry, but held in high regard for his honesty and integrity.
